About

Automated car parking can be built in very narrow spaces and exploit depth where ramp systems are not possible.

The most popular models we offer are based on the pallet system, which represents the most advanced technology available today, and is gradually replacing the more traditional pulling system.

We offer a range of different models of autosilos. This wide range of models represents the most flexible answer to any market requirement.

All parking systems are based on the most advanced and sophisticated technologies: the transfer system is based on direct or indirect lifting of the car and not on pulling as was usual in older systems. These new technologies allow the driver to leave the car with the parking brake and gear engaged.

For car owners, all this means major advantages in terms of reliability, safety, and last but not least, environment protection.

Applications

  • Suitable both for private and public car parks
  • Underground, above ground or mixed
  • Several mechanisms can be arranged into a large car park, with one or more working on each lane
  • Suitable both for pallet and integral lift system
  • In the case of pallet systems, the pallet change-over is performed on the trasloelevator
  • The mechanism can be modular both in length and height
  • It is possible to install multiple entry/exit rooms for each lane
  • Direct access on to the trasloelevator or through a secondary lift
  • It is possible to add several options, such as turntables, in order to adapt the system to the specific project requirements
  • Access with smart cards for private parking, complete ticketing systems with gates, manned and automatic cashiers in case of public parking

The Interpark integral lift system combines all of the advantages of the different car handling systems presently available on the market. It allows the driver to deposit and retrieve a car directly from the concrete slab of the car slot similarly to the push-pull systems, but simultaneously it allows the driver to leave the hand brake and the gear engaged similarly to the comb-type and pallet systems.

All that is needed is a recess in the concrete slab where the 2 transfer trolleys can slide.

A similar arrangement can be found in most existing push-pull systems, thus facilitating the exchange of those obsolete mechanisms with a modern technology, without the need to perform any change in the building structure.

In the case of existing carpark with flush concrete slabs, it is possible to make them compatible with the new system by adding simple steel supports with a moderate investment.

The advantage, compared to comb-type systems, in terms of civil structure costs is evident with an equal height of the cars to be handled, it is possible to reduce the height of the parking floor by 15 cm for example, in the case of cars of 155 cm height, a floor height of 180 cm is needed instead of 195 cm with a comb-type system. Furthermore no fixed combs, which require a very precise installation, are needed.

Advantages

Space

Given the same volumes, it is possible to park up to twices as many cars in comparison with the conventional ramp systems. Automated car parking can be built in very narrow spaces, where ramp systems are not possible and exploit depth. Their construction has less impact on the traffic and, thanks to prefabrication, shorter building times are possible. Due to system flexibility, the parking and its inlet and outlet premises can be integrated in existing infrastructures or services.

Economy

The cost per car place is competitive owing to a better use of space. Reduced manpower is required for the management. Costs for fire, theft and public liability insurance are lower.

Safety

No human presence inside the parking area, therefore no danger of assaults, car break-ins and damages to personal belongings. No danger of fire, the engines being turned off.

Ecology

No running engines inside the parking, therefore no sound and no air pollution.

Quality

Quality of service is excellent; fully automated operation. Residents own a magnetic card usable 24 hours a day, while for public parking there is the possibility of complete automation with ticketing and toll payment systems. Continuous control of spaces occupied, therefore better use of mixed parking (public and private). Possibility of telematic management with remote booking of the car spaces. Easy parking and return of the car: the average time for these operations is around 2 minutes.

The system can be designed for very high flows (for example: one car every 10 seconds).
